- In Colorado Barbra has worked with various theatres, most recently at Curious Theatre Company in the critically acclaimed production of Circle Mirror Transformation, which earned the 2011 Denver Post Ovation Award for Best Ensemble Comedy. Barbra has also worked in Pennsylvania, Chicago, and New York and holds a BA in Theatre with an emphasis in both Acting and Directing from the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to that she accomplished an acting apprenticeship with Powerhouse Theatre and New York Stage and Film Company at Vassar College. She also had the honor of studying one-on-one with Tony Award-winner, Rondi Reed, in a master acting class at Chicago’s prestigious Steppenwolf Theatre. Barbra has received various nominations and awards for her work from the Denver Post Ovation Awards, Marlowe Awards, Best of Westword, Colorado Backstage Spotlight Awards, and the Colorado Theatre Guild Henry Awards. Barbra also does on-camera work and is represented by Radical Artists Agency in Denver.
